Dedicated scuba diver, passionate ocean advocate, and enthusiast citizen scientist. Mike’s photo work centers on the diverse marine life of his home town of Sydney Australia. He’s had a 20 year career as a screenwriter and tv producer but would probably rather be underwater... 
Mike’s images have been featured by major institutions and organisations such as the Australian National Maritime Museum, the Australian Museum of natural history, and the Great Southern Reef Project. Mike is an active contributor to citizen science projects centred on Sea Dragons and Grey Nurse Sharks.
His regular dive sites include rock-shelf shore dives, off-shore reefs, and harbour muck-dives and he makes good use of a lean, light-weight camera rig built around Micro4/3 cameras.
